Airline Pilot Training (APT) launches in Stratford upon Avon on Tuesday 29th November.
Hosted by Kura, the aviation industry’s only Community Interest Company, APT, as a free event, is open to anyone who is considering a career as a commercial airline pilot or has already embarked on training. The aim is to provide independent, impartial information through professional pilots within the industry who do the job for a living.
This is a must for everyone who wants to learn more about the role of a commercial airline pilot. Bringing aspiring pilots, qualified pilots and current airline pilots together, APT will help build an understanding of the skills needed to be a commercial pilot; the different routes through training and the long-term career opportunities offered by this challenging and rewarding career.
Kura Aviation Limited’s community interest status requires it to invest in the support of aspiring pilots. Through a series of roadshows, events and funding initiatives Kura Aviation is working hard to stimulate interest in the career of an airline pilot and create innovative new ways for individuals to enter the profession.
Kura’s Commercial Director, Philip Edwards commented:
“Being a commercial airline pilot is something that many people have not considered or thought impossible. APT will stimulate awareness in this fascinating career which offers exciting opportunities, huge job satisfaction and is attainable and open to everyone.”
